    Supporting the international business community since 1963
    • 1963: Bernard Chevry launches MIPTV in Lyon
    • 1965: Bernard Chevry creates MIDEM Organisation and MIPTV moves to Cannes
    • 1967: Midem is launched in Cannes
    • 1982: New Palais des Festivals in Cannes is inaugurated, partly in response to the need for more exhibition space for MIPTV and MIDEM
    • 1985: MIPCOM is launched in Cannes
    • 1988: Xavier Roy succeeds Bernard Chevry as CEO
    • 1989: MIDEM Organisation is acquired by Reed Exhibitions and renamed Reed MIDEM
    • 1990: MIPIM is launched in Cannes
    • 1993: MIPJunior is launched in Cannes
    • 1995: MAPIC is launched in Cannes
    • 1998: MIPDoc is launched in Cannes
    • 2003: Paul Zilk succeeds Xavier Roy as CEO
    • 2006: MIPIM Asia is launched in Hong Kong
    • 2010: MIPFormats is launched in Cannes
    • 2014: MIPIM UK is launched in London
    • 2015: MIP Cancun is launched in Mexico, MIPIM Japan is launched in Tokyo
