Filippo Rean joined Reed MIDEM in October 2010 as the company’s Director of MIPIM and MIPIM Asia, the leading international real estate tradeshows and conferences. An experienced international executive with a background in international real estate, investment management, business strategies and marketing, Filippo Rean joined Reed MIDEM from GE Capital Real Estate where he held the title of Director Europe, Product Development for the investment management business.

He started his career in the marketing department of Procter & Gamble in Italy and then joined Bain & Company where he worked on highly diversified projects such as market analyses, product launching or organizational questions in different industry sectors including real estate. He joined the European headquarters of GE Capital Real Estate in Paris in 2005.

Filippo Rean has an engineering degree from the Politecnico di Torino, holds a Master in Business Administration from Harvard and is fluent in Italian (his mother tongue), English and French. He lives in Paris with his wife and two children.
