Reed MIDEM Code of Conduct

Reed MIDEM is committed to providing a safe and secure business environment at all of its events, built on mutual respect for every participant. Inappropriate behaviour, disrespect or harassment are not part of the Reed MIDEM event experience and will not be tolerated. By accessing a Reed MIDEM event, participants agree to respect all individuals, onsite or online, regardless of their gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability or any other difference. Everyone attending a Reed MIDEM event is subject to the Code of Conduct.

Reed MIDEM defines inappropriate behaviour as any form of verbal or physical abuse; the use of depreciative or discriminatory language, gestures or actions; any form of harassment, racism or sexism; inappropriate physical contact or any targeted comments which may cause personal offence to other individuals. Exhibitors or stand holders at Reed MIDEM events should not use images or other materials or conduct activities on their stands that may cause offence.

Reed MIDEM retains the right to take action against any individual or company that does not respect the Code of Conduct, disrupts an event or makes the environment hostile for any participant. This action includes refusing entry or removing the individual(s) from the event.

If you observe or experience a violation of the Code of Conduct, please report it to a member of Reed MIDEM, identifiable by their Show Organization badges. Please remember that notifying a staff member of Reed MIDEM does not replace contacting the local police if you believe this is appropriate.

Code of Conduct violations diminish participants’ experience at Reed MIDEM events. Reed MIDEM wants to create a positive environment where participants achieve their goals in an atmosphere of mutual respect and professionalism. We want to do this for our clients and with our clients.
